pray
O Grant, O Lord, that in all our sufferings here upon earth, for the testimony of thy truth, we may stedfastly look up to heaven, and by faith behold the glory that shall be revealed; and, being filled with the Holy Ghost, may learn to love and bless our persecutors by the example of the first Martyr Saint Stephen, who prayed for his murderers to thee, O blessed Jesus, who standest at the right hand of God to succour all those that suffer for thee, our only Mediator and Advocate. Amen.(source)
Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your Name give glory; because of your love and because of your faithfulness. Amen.

Good King Wenceslas honored the day of Saint Stephen, one of the first deacons of the church charged with overseeing charity and for that good work the first martyr of the Church
We can honor this day by giving money to those in need.
I've selected a few of the organizations my family loves and follows. I've especially included two organizations who focus on assisting the persecuted Church around the world. This would also be a good day to consider giving a year-end gift to your local church or to your church's denomination. In this way we support the work of God's restoring work in our homes, neighborhoods, cities, country and world.
