I have learned quite a lot about the art and science of writing book reviews from just one attempt.  I have seriously considered deleting my review because I wish I'd written it more "sharply".  At the same time, I've been surprised at the way other reviewers seem to lash out at Brett McCracken.  It makes me feel like someone picked sides and I didn't even realize there were teams.  Kind of strange.  All the same, this review says some things I was thinking more clearly.  Still a bit harsh, in my opinion.  But, then again, it seems I have much to learn.
